Two robbers were left disappointed after they only escaped with a plastic bag filled with a newspaper and a water bottle.
The victim, a money changer, was about to open his shop in Taman Sentosa here at about 9am when he was approached by two men armed with guns.
The robbers snatched the plastic bag the victim was carrying before escaping in a blue Proton Wira.
The 50-year-old victim was relieved that the bag only contained his bank account book, a newspaper and a water bottle.
He was not harmed and has lodged a police report at Central police station.
